Building and Organizing Coaching Tools with Tool Builder

Tool Builder is the administrative module used to create interactive, AI-driven coaching tools. Toolkits extend this functionality by grouping related tools and supporting attachments into structured collections, making them easy for your sales team to discover and use.

This module helps transform your organization's unique sales methodologies into guided, conversational AI experiences.

Please note: Tool Builder is used strictly to configure and organize tools. It is not a reporting engine, activity builder, or static content repository.

Key Concepts and Vocabulary

  • Tool: An interactive, AI-guided coaching conversation designed to walk a seller through a specific workflow (such as call planning or discovery preparation).

  • Attachment: Supporting files (such as reference documents) that are attached to a toolkit to help users complete the tools.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the difference between a Tool and a Toolkit?

  • Tools are the actual interactive conversations you have with the AI.
  • Toolkits are the organizational folders used to group those tools and their supporting files together by sales stage, methodology, or team focus.

Can standard users or managers edit toolkits?

No. Creating, editing, and deleting toolkits is an administrative function. Standard users and managers can only browse, launch, and interact with the toolkits that administrators have made available in Chat.

Do toolkits force users to complete tools in a specific sequence?

No. Toolkits are purely organizational. They do not alter how an individual tool behaves, nor do they enforce a specific order of completion. Users are free to launch any tool in the toolkit at any time.

Why is tool organization so important?

Poorly organized toolkits can make it difficult for your sales representatives to find the coaching they need. Grouping tools logically (for example, by pipeline stage or sales skill) and uploading highly relevant attachments will greatly improve user adoption.
